In Memmingen, GELITA primarily produces ossein, which is the raw material for bone gelatin. Ossein is a key ingredient used in the pharmaceutical and photographic industries. Our facility utilizes a specialized manufacturing process to ensure exceptional quality in our products.

In production, we operate on a five-shift system. This means that in the full continuous shift system, you work one week of early, late, and night shifts, followed by a week of recovery shift, and every fifth week, you have a complete week off! Additionally, there is a designated washing and changing time, which can provide up to 10 additional days off. This ensures that you have ample time for your personal life.
