Overweight, obesity and the increasing frequency of lifestyle diseases are the unfortunate and highly visible consequences of poor nutrition and a lack of physical activity. Although simply consuming fewer calories and expending more energy would be a simple enough formula to halt this trend, it’s not working! In fact, the problem is growing as quickly as our waistlines.
